My research is currently focused on characterizing the interaction between macrophage polarization and the epithelial-mesenchymal transition. I am working to identify the key signaling pathways that govern these processes, with the aim of constructing mathematical models describing their dynamics. I seek to ultimately develop a coupled model that can be fit to experimental data. Predications made by this model may help inform targeted therapeutic strategies.
