We are proud to celebrate the accomplishments of two of our exceptional researchers, Dr. Sandra Byju and Dr. Chris Kirkup, as they move on to the next exciting chapters of their professional journeys.

Dr. Sandra Byju: Postdoctoral Researcher at the Medical College of Wisconsin

After successfully earning her Ph.D., Dr. Sandra Byju has joined the Medical College of Wisconsin as a Postdoctoral Researcher from (March 2025 – Present). Her groundbreaking work focuses on developing computational frameworks that integrate molecular simulations with experimental biophysical and structural data. By bridging computational modeling and experimental science, Sandra aims to accelerate automated scientific discovery and enable transformative advancements in molecular research.

Her innovative contributions during her Ph.D. have laid a strong foundation for this next step, and we look forward to witnessing her continued impact on the field of computational biology and structural bioinformatics.

Dr. Chris Kirkup: Returning to PathAI

Dr. Chris Kirkup has also successfully completed his Ph.D. and will be returning to his position at PathAI, where he will continue leveraging cutting-edge AI-driven solutions to improve diagnostics and precision medicine. Chris’s expertise in applying machine learning and computational techniques to healthcare challenges has been instrumental in advancing research outcomes, and his return to PathAI promises to further strengthen their mission to transform pathology through artificial intelligence.

Celebrating Excellence & Looking Ahead

Both Sandra and Chris have exemplified dedication, innovation, and academic excellence throughout their time here. While we will miss their presence, we are thrilled to see them take on roles where their talents will make a significant global impact.

We wish them the very best as they embark on these new chapters and continue to shape the future of science and technology.
