My research focuses on computational modeling and simulation of ribosomes. I use structure-based models and molecular dynamics simulation techniques to study dynamical processes in the ribosome. My current research emphasis is on the elongation cycle of translation, studying various dynamical events during elongation and characterizing their energetics.
I am also working on improving descriptions of domain motions in the ribosome and developing guiding protocols to detect and differentiate between these motions experimentally.
